Breakfast for Haiti...
Today's breakfast for Haiti at the Green Barn farmers market served over 350 breakfasts—the volunteers were amazing—they got up at six on Saturday and gave up their time to lend a hand.

Clearly incenting Canadians to give to Haiti relief is hugely important... I couldn't understand why the govt decided to put a cap on the match at $50M... am happy that they have seen the light and lifted it today ...

Immigration rules changed to deal with Haitian disaster...
This is a beginning... Haiti will become a priority for family reunification and international adoptions and Haitians here in Canada will be allowed to stay beyond their current visas.

Next weekend the wonderful Anne Sorrenti who does the 'Try it then Buy it' sampling table...will prepare a $5 breakfast with proceeds going to Oxfam.... there will also be a concert 4-8 at night to raise $$$
