When can I vote?
• Voting hours on election day in Ontario are from 9:30am to 9:30pm (Eastern Standard Time).
• The times and locations for advance polling can be found by checking your voter information card or by calling the returning officer for St. Paul’s at 1-800-463-6868.
Where do I find information on Advance Polls?
• Information on the advance polls is available both from the returning officer for St. Paul’s at 1-800-463-6868, and on the Elections Canada website.
Where do I go to vote?
• The list of regular and advance polling stations in St. Paul’s for the 2006 election is available on the Elections Canada website. Should you encounter any difficulties in locating your specific poll, please call the campaign office at 416-481-8686 or contact the returning officer for St. Paul’s at 1-800-463-6868. You could also check the address on a voter information card received by another elector in your household.

• If you are not registered on the voters list, or you have not received a voter information card from Elections Canada showing the address of your polling station, you can register by telephoning the returning office for St. Paul’s at 1-800-463-6868.
How do I vote?
(**Remember- You can register to vote on E-Day at your polling station!**)
To avoid delays, Elections Canada strongly encourages you to make sure that your name appears on the voter’s list for the election before Election Day. If you are not registered on the voter’s list, you can register:
• during the 28-day revision period, which occurs between the 33rd day and the
6th day at 6:00pm before election day;
• at the advance polling station; or
• at the polling station on election day.
- Remember to present satisfactory proof of your identity and residence; or
- make a sworn statement of your identity and residence, and be accompanied by another elector already registered in the same polling division. That person vouches for you by making a sworn statement, and cannot vouch for anyone else.
Finding your polling station
If you are not registered on the voters list, or you have not received a voter information card from Elections Canada showing the address of your polling station, you can get the address by telephoning the returning office in St. Paul’s at 1-800-463-6868. You could also check the address on a voter information card received by another elector in your household.
Registering at an advance poll
To have your name added to the voter’s list at an advance poll, you will have to present satisfactory proof of your identity and residence. You register with the deputy returning officer- who completes a registration certificate that you sign. You can then vote.
Acceptable identification is one valid official document showing your name, address and signature (such as a driver’s licence); or two valid official documents, one showing your name and address (such as a telephone or electricity bill), and one showing your name and signature (such as a health card or a library card).
Registering on election day
To have your name added to the voters list on election day at your polling station, you must either:
• present satisfactory proof of your identity and residence; or
• make a sworn statement of your identity and residence, and be accompanied by another elector already registered in the same polling division. That person vouches for you by making a sworn statement, and cannot vouch for anyone else.
Acceptable identification is the same for registering on election day as it is for registering at an advance poll. You register with the deputy returning officer or a registration officer at the polling station, who completes a registration certificate that you sign. You can then vote.

We are pleased to offer transportation to the elderly, the disabled and anyone else who requires an extra helping hand in getting to their polling station. If you require such assistance, don’t hesitate to call our campaign office at 416-481-8686.

On our website, you will find Carolyn’s personal standpoint on a variety of issues, as well as the principles of the Liberal Party. Should you not be able to find the issue specific to your concern, please feel free to call our campaign office at 416-481-8686 and we will be happy to find an answer for you.
How can I get in touch with Carolyn?
Throughout the campaign Carolyn will be in and around St. Paul’s looking to hear from as many people as possible on their concerns and priorities for our community and country. Should you not have a chance to meet Carolyn at your door, on the street or at an event, you are welcome to call our campaign office at 416-481-8686 to submit your comments or to request a meeting with her.

How can I help Carolyn?
Volunteer:
• Volunteers make up the foundation of Carolyn’s campaign. She needs your help canvassing throughout the neighbourhoods of St. Paul’s, campaigning in subway stops, helping with signs around the riding and assisting in the campaign office. Taking a Sign:
• Help us paint the town red by placing a ‘Re-Elect Carolyn Bennett’ sign on your lawn, on your fence and/or in your windows. Send us an email to signs@carolynbennett.ca or call us at 416-481-8686 to let your neighbours know Carolyn has your vote.
Donations:
• Along with volunteers, Carolyn’s campaign relies on the generous support of financial contributions in order to facilitate a successful re-election campaign. Send us an email to donate@carolynbennett.ca or call us at 416-481-8686 to commit your support to Carolyn.
Help on Election Day:
• As the countless hours of canvassing, phone calls, rallies, debates, etc. come to a close, this is the most crucial day of the campaign.
